Submission Guidelines for Authors

 

Thank you for your interest in submitting your work to Ocean Publishing & Distribution. We welcome submissions from authors in all genres and forms, including novels, nonfiction, academic books, and self-help books. To ensure a smooth and efficient review process, please adhere to the following guidelines: :

 

Materials required to submit works

1.      Introductory letter  

-          A brief introduction about yourself and your work . 

-          Include your contact information (full name, email, phone number ).

-          Summary of the submitted work, including the genre, target audience, and unique features of the work. . 

 

2.      The manuscript Or the work submitted

-          Submit work as a file Word or PDF

-          Use standard formatting : 

o       The line Times New Roman size 12 .

o       Line spacing: double . 

o       Margins: 1 inch or 2 cm on all sides . 

-          Include a title page containing the title of the work and the author's name. . 

 

3.      Abstract  

   - A one- to two-page summary that highlights the story's main points, themes, and characters (for fiction), or main ideas (for nonfiction ).

 

4.      Author's Biography  

   - A brief CV (150-200 words) including your writing background, previous publications (if any), and any relevant experience. . 

 

5.      Additional information  

   - For non-fiction works, include a suggested table of contents and any references or research materials. . 

   - For children's books, specify the target age group and whether illustrations are included. . 

 

6.      Consent Form  

   - Include a signed consent form (attached below) confirming that the submitted work is your original creation and does not infringe any intellectual property rights. .

I confirm that I own all rights to this work and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. I hereby authorize Ocean Publishing and Distribution to review this work for possible publication. .

Declaration of Consent

By submitting your work to Ocean Publishing and Distribution, you agree to the following terms: : 

1 The submitted works are your original work and do not violate any copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights . . 

2 You own all rights to the work and have not previously transferred or licensed these rights to any third party . . 

3 You grant Ocean Publishing and Distribution permission to review your work for possible publication . . 

4 Submitting work does not guarantee acceptance or publication . .

 

 

Application process

- Send by email: Send all required materials to [submission@oceanbooks.ae]. 

- Email address: Include Submission: [ Work Title] – [Your Name] ]". 

- File names: Make sure all files are named clearly (eg. : “Manuscript_Title_AuthorName”). 

 

# Important notes

- Please allow 6-8 weeks for a response. If you do not receive a response within this period, you can follow up with us. . 

- Simultaneous submission is permitted, but please notify us as soon as your work is accepted by another entity. . 

We reserve the right to reject works that do not comply with these guidelines. .
